We've already written about how to find your first automation: take what people do by hand, daily, and identically. But some processes repeat in almost every business — and they are usually the first to pay off. Here are our top five from practice.
1. Leads from the website and messengers — into one place
A customer writes on the website, on Telegram, by email — and a manager collects it all by eye from three windows. Leads get lost, replies come late. Automation funnels every channel into the CRM: each inquiry becomes a card with an owner, and "we forgot to reply" disappears as a phenomenon.
2. Customer reminders
Tomorrow's appointment, an overdue payment, an order ready for pickup — the system can send these reminders itself: by messenger or SMS, at the right time, with no human involved. Fewer missed visits and late payments — a direct gain in revenue.
3. Invoices and repetitive documents
If a manager copies details into an invoice or contract template every day, that's a job for a script, not a person. The data is already in the CRM: the document should assemble itself in one click, with no "pasted the wrong amount" mistakes.
4. Daily reports
The morning report — "how much we sold, how many leads, what's in stock" — that someone assembles for half an hour from three systems is the classic waste. A script gathers the same numbers itself and sends them to your Telegram at 8 a.m. Every day, no weekends, no human factor.
5. Moving data between systems
Orders from the online store into accounting, bank payments into the CRM, warehouse stock onto the website. Wherever a person "moves data from system A to system B", they will eventually make a mistake. An integration does it faster, error-free, around the clock.
Where should you start
Pick the one process from this list that hurts most and do the math: minutes per operation × times per day × working days per month. We build these workflows on n8n plus custom code — they live on your server, and you don't pay a third-party service for every operation.
Describe your process — we'll estimate, free of charge, how many hours a month its automation would give back.
